MSCAN32 and UBIQUATI products:
MScan32 is a
standalone capture program that works independently and in conjunction with CompuScan’s UBIQUATI and UBiQuati Lite
full image management solutions. As an independent program, MScan32 uses the
executable under the Pixview.exe label to fire off the program
(c:\programfiles\pixview.exe).
MScan32 is our capture program having unique screens that are
used to house its features. Most
commonly used drivers in the industry are ISIS
and ISIS/Twain and these are located outside our application. These drivers are written to handle most SCSI
and USB scanners on the market today (some 480 configurative models). You will learn that using Select Scanner will
allow the user to choose a scanner from a drive list furnished by the scanner manufacturer. Once the scanner has been selected, the
scanner will now function with the scanner options available for that scanner
in conjunction with the features of MScan32.
MScan32 is designed
for company’s having purchased UBiQuati (UB) and choose to use the capture
image program written to work standalone.
